American Wars

By Phil Young Copyright 2008 Sovereign Books Limited

If tears stream down your face

As if you have found amazing grace

That brings comfort and breaks the chains

Then maybe people can end hatred.

Its not my disease that¡¯s killing me

It¡¯s the disease of blind men not seeing

Winning is not everything

This is the story of American Wars

There¡¯s more to the story

Behind the wall

All for one

And one for all

It¡¯s too late now to stop the fighting

Mother¡¯s sons are too young for dying

So let me tell you a story

About American Wars

They go back to George Washington

When men were men and boys were boys

So what kind of man was Thomas Jefferson

And how enlightened was Benjamin Franklin

Who is left?

Who is right?

Franklin or Teddy Roosevelt

This is the land of the politically correct

It is the United States of America

A Christian nation they proudly say

Just like the mother land England

Together America and England

Lead the Western nations

Dressed up like a Christian lamb

Like the two horns in Revelation

The Federal Reserve and the Bank of England

Privately owned since 1913 and 1694

Have financed America¡¯s and England¡¯s wars

And the expansion of the Western shores

You need not care who makes the laws

If you¡¯re the banker of the government

By grace you can not see it

But now you are digitally monitored

Could George Bush save New Orleans

Could Donald Trump save New York city

Skyscrapers are like matchbox toys

Built by the Canaanite boys

Get your importance into perspective

Your highest authority will be rejected

The endeavours of humanity

Will all be affected

American Wars

Kennedy assassinated

Oh was that a war?

Vietnam came later

O wake up America I feel impatient for you

You call yourselves Christians

But where is the enlightenment

Don¡¯t tell history

Like they tell you at Junior High School

Let¡¯s talk religion, politics and sex

Break the golden rules

Of the politically correct

If you don¡¯t like your embarrassment

When we talk about your wars

Then let¡¯s talk about Agent Orange

Or napalm explosions

Or your owners across the ocean
