As the light fades
Upon the shore
I sometimes wonder what life is for
For we all live life as we choose
It’s just a matter of our attitude
It can be lonely
In this private time and space
For it has taken us all a lifetime
Just to reach this place
But all people
Are searching for something
In New York city or Jerusalem
As if the streets of a city
Could be covered with gold
But if you’re blind and agnostic
The doctor gave you a diagnosis
OK so you need a gnosis
An inner revelation
So try to make the most of it
So what is your time and space
What are your hopes today
Your life takes a lifetime
Just to reach another creation
People I meet like to live life
Some like sexuality
Others like reality
In search of paradise
Paradise paradise
Is this what we crave for
The road is wide
But not the door
SEX ON THE BEACH depicts a man and a woman in search of paradise.
History is full of genocides
Humanity is a soul in misery
We’re always grieving for the dying
Nobody in the village can stop crying
If you live again
What would you sooner be
A butterfly a lion or a tree
Or would you rather
Be able to see
If you sit there fat like a cat
Waiting to be fed
You had better try and catch
Your own meat instead
There’s a bridge to cross to safety
Just like a Hollywood movie
You probably think I’m crazy
But I’m pointing straight behind you
Life doesn’t last forever
It can blow out like a flame
But when you talk about the end of the world
It doesn’t have to be your doomsday
What kind of quiet rhyme
Would you like to hear me say
Which side of your personality
Do I speak to today
Do I tease you along the way
And show you fraud and counterfeit
I hope there will be defeat
For these sophistications
Are full of intrigue
And things aren’t quite
What they seem
